Climate
Knoxville is situated in the Tennessee valley,
at an altitude of 900 feet, between the Cumberland Mountains
and the Great Smoky Mountains. The climate in Knoxville is
a moderate. The advantage of being so sheltered by mountains
is that the annual average temperature is about 60 degrees
and we experience all four seasons.
The winter is relatively
short with occasional snow falls of 1 to 3 inches. In the
summer the highs are in the mid 80's to low 90's.
